Fort Worth Example

When people across the United States use YOUR city as an example of what NOT to do, you got problems.

Check out the Fort Worth Way gas drilling example @ the Fort Worth Weekly.

And then get your butt off the couch and go vote.

WHERE was Betsy Price?

While confirmed to appear at the Mayoral Candidate forum last night for NCTCA, she was a no show.

Want to know WHY?  Read Landslide Clyde.

Guess this answers the question WHO will make up the $100,000 pay cut Betsy Price would take if she became mayor.   Think the drillers and the congresswoman will split the difference?  We're betting you can take that to the bank.

We also saw the Chesapeake PAC letter supporting incumbents, that won't "tremendously disrupt their operations by adding unnecessary stipulations to permits and ordinances".  That wasn't near as funny as them paying millions for advertising and then using tag lines from local activist groups.  Keep it up, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.  And we all know how sincere the BS is.

Don't buy it.  Don't be sheep.  You know where they are led.

Odd?

WHO is blowing up levees?  The same group that is wanting to take down levees in Fort Worth, Texas for the Trinity River Vision.  Same folks who should remember Katrina all too well.

Yes, none other than the Corp of Engineers.  SOS already.

Read about it and some of the possible consequences on NaturalNews.com

"Right now the Mississippi River is in the process of going through what we call an epic flood, meaning it's more than historic; it's more than a 100-year flood, it's more like a 500-year flood," said Gene Rench from the National Weather Service, to My Fox Memphis last Thursday. "We could flood many homes, businesses, close down factories, people could drown."

Since the time of Rench's statement, the situation has only gotten progressively worse. And yet this emerging disaster has received little attention from the mainstream media, which has instead chosen to focus on other events that, to the discerning individual, appear more of a distraction than actual news.

People living all around the flood zone are being evacuated, and ACE is planning to blow up a 64-foot levee, but most Americans are too busy focusing on meaningless royalty weddings and flimsy tales of the supposed capture of dead terrorists.

Morons...

Just another example.  If they buy the media, the elections, control the information released/posted, and close or run the libraries, what are the odds YOUR kids will be smart enough to play the game?

Read about Fort Worth non-public libraries on CommonDreams.org.

All things public are under attack. The Fort Worth rebranding is an indication of how effective this attack has been. The city explained that it was dropping the word “public” because of its “potentially negative connotation”. The Founding Fathers would be disconsolate.

Privatization can undermine the public library’s mission: protecting the public’s access to information. The public library is a non-profit organization controlled by representatives of the users of the library. The mission of private companies is to maximize profits. They are controlled by representatives of their investors.

Would it be improper for me to mention the Fort Worth rebranding initiative was mostly paid for by a large oil drilling company?

We noticed the same thing in the FW Weekly shot of the Haltom City Library last week.  And looking just a little further, we weren't shocked to see who the largest donor was.

If YOU don't do something now, YOUR kids are going to be debt ridden dumb sheep...

VOTE TODAY!

We agree with a recent letter writer in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

I read the outstanding background of Cathy Hirt but still wasn't sure for whom I would vote until after watching the April 28 broadcast of the Fort Worth Mayor's Forum on KTXA/Channel 21. She exceeded them all in answers and knowledge!

If others watched, how can they not vote for Hirt?

Don't buy the BS

Lots of candidates and "news" papers trying to buy your vote.  Lots of players buying the candidates.  Don't be bought.  Wake up, don't sell your kids down the river.

Read the FW Weekly article to get the scoop on the Fort Worth Mayor's Race.

See Texas Lone Star picks here.

And get out and VOTE!!
